Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of NetworkSketch at networksketch.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you're using the Service for an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.

1. The Service

NetworkSketch is a browser-based tool for designing and documenting network diagrams. The editor runs in your browser; your diagram content stays on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and provide an email address you control. Sign-in links are sent to that address. Keep access to it secure.
• Each account is for one person. Sharing an account isn't permitted. An account may be signed in on one device at a time; signing in on another device signs out the previous one.
• A subscription to NetworkSketch also includes our sister product CallSketch (and a CallSketch subscription includes NetworkSketch), for the same person, signed in with the same email address. Billing is managed on the product where you subscribed.
• You're responsible for activity under your account.

3. Trials, beta and complimentary access

We may offer free trials, beta features or complimentary accounts. These are provided at our discretion and may be changed or ended. Beta features may be incomplete and are provided as is.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel any time from Manage billing in the account menu. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
• Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Where Stripe acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for your purchase, Stripe's terms for that purchase also apply.

5. Your content

You own the network diagrams and other content you create (“Your Content”). Because Your Content stays on your device, you are responsible for saving, backing up and securing it. Browser storage can be cleared by you, your browser or your organization's policies. You're responsible for having the right to use any information you put into a diagram, including information about your clients, their sites or their networks.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share, resell or sublicense access to the Service, or let others use your account;
• circumvent or disable the Service's sign-in, licensing or security features;
• reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law;
• interfere with the Service or use automated means to access it in ways that place unreasonable load on it;
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

7. Our property

The Service, including its software, design and the NetworkSketch name and logo, belongs to us and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms while your account is active. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Third-party names

Product and company names mentioned in the Service or on our website (for example, network equipment vendors or cloud providers) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. NetworkSketch is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those companies.

9. Diagrams are documentation

NetworkSketch produces diagrams, inventories, cabling schedules and checks to help you design and document networks. It does not connect to, configure or control any device or network, and its network check only reviews what you've entered. Always verify your actual device and network configuration; we're not responsible for how any network is built, addressed or operated.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period. Your Content remains yours on your device regardless.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
